  1. I LOVE singing Christmas carols with family/friends gathered around the piano. I’m happy to play and sing, now with my son adding trumpet. Fills my heart with so much joy!

  2. I love putting up the tree, Nativity, and making cookies with family (especially my kids)!

  3. I love singing along to Christmas music, baking, decorating, and celebrating the birth of Christ with family!

  4. Making seasonal goodies to share and give as gifts! Currently making Spicy Green Tomato Jam AKA Grinch Sauce cause it’s good on so many things!
    Great Giveaway!
    Happy Turkey Month to all

  5. During the holiday season, we love to have family game nights with our adult children and their spouses. Now that some of the grandkids are getting old enough, they get to stay up late and play too!

  6. I love singing Christmas carols at the assisted living home where my grandmother lives. My whole family joins in, and it makes my grandmother (and the other residents) so happy.

  7. I love to make rovastinpiparkakut, a Finnish cookie spiced with cardamom. It’s a new treat for friends and neighbors, and it always reminds me of visits to Finland and the time my husband and I spent Christmas and New Year’s with friends there.

  8. I love going to church during the Advent and Christmas season and singing Christmas Carols in church 🙂

  9. Making desserts to give away, working on homemade Christmas ornaments for friends, and reading lots of books!

  10. I love to rest and rejuvenate during the holiday season. I also love giving gifts. It’s so fun to watch reactions and excitement

  11. Love the memory of cookie bakes with family and friends joining in. I would bake cut outs ahead and we’d all have fun decorating.

  12. I love playing and singing Christmas Carol’s. I also love decorating for Christmas and watching Christmas movies.

  13. My husband and I love to ride in a horse carriage, drink hot chocolate while looking at the city Christmas lights, and then go see a movie

  14. Baking goodies with the grandchildren is memorable and special. Creating beautiful baskets filled with love and treats for neighbors, family and friends.

  15. I love all the extended getting together on Christmas Eve to share gifts food and laughter!

  16. I love watching Christmas classics – like “White Christmas”, “Miracle on 34th Street” (1947), and “Holiday Inn” – with my nephews and niece piled on my lap, then having a gift-wrapping night with my sister, a glass of wine, and Mannheim Steamroller.

  17. I love to bake treats as well….we live overseas and it’s so fun to bless unexpecting nationals with a plate of American goodies they’ve never tried before. My kids have also fallen in love with all things winter even though it’s dusty and warm here: so we have fun with our (plush) snowball fights and ‘magic’ snow that I let them dump all over the house for a day or two. <3

  18. I love taking time in the early morning to pray and prepare for the Lord’s arrival with a cup of piping hot coffee, a very dim light, and an Advent devotional. My favorite day is the Saturday after Thanksgiving as we start decorating the Convent, Church, and Rectory to brighten up our impoverished neighborhood with Christmas cheer!

  19. I LOVE everything Christmas. The most important part of Christmas is why we celebrate it, which is Christ’s birth. So attending church is something I always look forward to. Then on Christmas morning, I love our tradition that my Mom started over 60 years ago, making chipped beef gravy and serving it over toast or Pillsbury biscuits. I love singing Christmas carols and playing some of my over 100+ Christmas CDs. This year I am looking forward to going to a Lee Greenwood Christmas Concert. Lee’s mom was a friend of mine and through her I got to know Lee.

  20. I love the festive feeling of Christmas; all of our Advent and Christmas services; our local area Christmas Walk in the evening with our flashlights- we go to several churches in our downtown area – listen to message which could be a drama presentation, and at the last church having cookies and punch,; rereading of the story of Jesus birth in my devotions, and Bible; I love putting up all of my Christmas decorations including our tree inside and I also decorate our front porch. Enjoy preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  21. I ❤️ baking special cookies and crescent rolls. It’s so fun giving them to family and friends.

  22. Baking and decorating gingerbread cookies! Oh, the sweet smell that fills the house — love it!

  23. I love watching my grandkids decorate my tree. I also like to turn the house lights off at night and just watch the Christmas tree lights. My husband of almost 45 years passed away in August of 2021 and it’s not as fun watching by myself.

  24. I enjoy the music (including our Christmas cantata at church), getting together with family and eating Christmas cookies fresh from the oven (especially shortbread). Thanks for having this giveaway!

  25. One of my favorite things to do is to send handwritten Christmas cards; I’ve been sending at least 100 to family, relatives & close friends for over 26 years. Having served in the Air Force, & also having been a military spouse for 22 years with overseas assignments for 12 years … I’ve made a lot of wonderful friends. Love to get caught up with news & photos!

  26. I love Christmas and have lots of favorite traditions but, one that stands out every years is a charity knit-a-long. A close friend and I take old sweaters and salvage them for yarn to make hats and scarves for Adopt-a-Senior.

  27. After making it a special trip to the Capital, Helena, MT, from where we live (Deer Lodge, MT), I enjoy seeing the Christmas lights, after my husband and I, and our oldest son, (and youngest son and his wife, if they travel to be with us during Christmas), first have a special meal together Christmas Eve in Helena. Then, we drive around town to see the lights, which makes for a memorable evening. . . I also like to read CF (Christian Fiction) any extra moments I have, and especially like to enter in giveaways for CF:) Thanks for the opportunity!

  28. I love to bake. I’m terrible at it. I forget what I’m doing, get too many cookies going at the same time, and simply try too hard. I tried 7 times, unsuccessfully, one year to make Divinity. But, I sing carols, watch Elf, The Grinch, and be joyful and triumphant.

  29. I love visiting the live nativity in my community. It’s a beautiful reminder of what Christmas is truly about.

  30. My favorite tradition is going out at night with hot chocolate (and coffee!) and driving through neighborhoods to find the best-decorated houses!

  31. Going to Calvary Chapel’s Christmas Eve service. Everyone gets a glow-stick & we break them so they “glow” during the last hymn/song of the service. Such a beautiful sight!! Then driving home past some of the homes decorated for Christmas & finally arriving @ my house for some Christmas movies, snacks & snuggling with my dog, Sabio.

  32. I love sitting by the Christmas tree with only the tree lights on and Christmas carols playing. (And enjoying all the baked goods and snacks that only get made this time of year.)

  33. I love looking at Christmas lights! It gets dark so early, and seeing all the lights up makes me feel more cheerful

  34. A friend and I used to have a joke..we always talked about going out to see the Christmas lights but never did. It became lets talk about going out to see the lights
Now we have actually gone and driven around.
    It’s my favorite thing now‍♀️
    Merry Christmas
    Love your books!

  35. I love inviting a few friends at a time over to catch up, have tea, exchange gifts, talk about the best Gift from God, etc. It is hard for me to get out very often, so when I have free days during the holidays, this is so enjoyable!

  36. I start reading a chapter a day in Luke starting December first. By Christmas I have covered the whole chapter. Which includes His time on earth.
