Double Giveaway: The Curator’s Daughter and Surviving Savannah

This giveaway is over, but you another one is coming soon. Check my homepage for the latest.

What an honor to give away two great books this week! The first, by Melanie Dobson is one I can’t wait to dive into, The Curator’s Daughter. I met Melanie at a writers conference when we were both writing for Howard Books and she is a delight. I know this book will be amazing. You can sign up to be on Melanie’s newsletter list HERE.

This dual-timeline novel is about how a young girl, kidnapped on the eve of World War II, changes the lives of a German archaeologist forced into the Nazi Party and—decades later—a researcher trying to overcome her own trauma.

Here’s what Melanie had to say about In A Far-Off Land:

The stage is set perfectly with beautiful prose as Stephanie Landsem takes readers back behind the glamorous curtain of Hollywood, exposing the corruption on the other side. Like an enchanting, enduring motion picture, In a Far-Off Land will grip your heart with its timeless truth and captivate the theater of your mind. –Melanie Dobson, award-winning author of Memories of Glass and Catching the Wind

I can’t wait to get started on Patti Callahan’s brand-new release, Surviving Savannah. You can see what I had to say about her New York Times best-selling novel Becoming Mrs. Lewis here on my top-10 of 2020 and I have no doubt this book will be just as stunning. You can sign up to be on Patti’s newsletter list HERE.

It was called “The Titanic of the South.” The luxury steamship sank in 1838 with Savannah’s elite on board; through time, their fates were forgotten–until the wreck was found, and now their story is finally being told in this breathtaking novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Becoming Mrs. Lewis.

Here are Patti’s kind words after she read In A Far-Off Land:

In A Land Far Off is a novel that asks us the questions that matter and then answers them with a depth of emotion and truth rarely seen. Who do we want to be? What and where is home? Landsem’s prose is as immersive as it is lyrical. Worthiness, forgiveness and love rise from the dust of broken lives with the backdrop of both sides of Hollywood — the glitter and the dark. Immersive, enchanting and gripping, In A Land Far Off is do-not-miss historical fiction.  —– Patti Callahan, NYT Bestselling author of Becoming Mrs. Lewis
