Laura Callaway lives in Cornwall with distant relatives after the deaths of her parents. One night, during a shipwreck, a man is washed ashore. As Laura and a neighbor care for the survivor, they discover he has curious wounds and, although he speaks in careful, educated English, his accent seems odd. Other clues wash ashore, and Laura soon realizes he is not who he seems to be.

There were a few parts I could do without, but for the most part I really enjoyed Poldark!

I love all of Julie Klassen’s books! (I own all of them but two!) Also, I really enjoyed watching the Victoria series–the first season was the one I watched and it was very interesting.

Cheryl I’d recommend the book I’m giving away this week for a book club read. Clouds, by Laura Sobiech. It’s a beautiful story of hope and family amid the loss of their son, Zach.
Downtown Abbey for sure closely followed by Poldark, Victoria, Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Persausion.
And of course I can’t just pick one!
