Of Book Releases and Whatnot

Whew! In A Far-Off Land has been released into the world! I’ve been hearing from readers already with their impressions of the story, and I’m so pleased to know Mina and Max have captured the hearts of my friends, family, and new readers. If you’ve read In A Far-Off Land, please consider writing a review on Goodreads, Amazon, or BookBub. It helps my sales and keeps me in the business of writing! More on that below.

If you’ve read the story or not, you might be interested in some of my recent guest posts and interviews touching on writing, books, and the history of 1930s Hollywood and the Great Depression:

Book Release Party on FB Live. I had a little technical difficulty which threw me. So if you’d like to see my deer-in-the-headlights look as I finally figured out that I was live, be my guest! In the end, it was fun to talk to readers and answer some questions about Old Hollywood, the Great Depression, and the most bizarre historical tidbit I’ve run into in my research. You can find the video right HERE.

Me, laughing at my technical ineptitude

Another fun interview was with Amy Cattapan on her Youtube channel: Cath-Lit Live! Find that one HERE and subscribe to her channel for awesome weekly interviews with writers.
